These are all the books I read in 2021!

I read these as IRL books (some picked up from Little Free Libraries around my neighborhood), e-book library loans on my Kindle, and audiobooks through Libby. It’s an interesting group of titles. I was on somewhat of a spiritual self-help kick for most of the year, it looks like.

My favorites here are Wintering, The Book of Difficult Fruit, Deep Play, Wherever You Go, There You Are, Wide Awake, and all three Barbara Pym Novels: Excellent Women, A Glass of Blessings, and Some Tame Gazelle.

In 2022, I hope to read fewer, better books. I’ve noticed that reading has turned into a high-endurance, time-trialed sport for me, and I don’t really know how this happened! Going to try to sip and savor the words if they’re delicious and just discard them if they feel like homework.
