“So when thinking function is inferior, somebody can often discover that they have very deep, unconventional, unstructured thoughts, which feel very innovative, very original, and they also can be tinged with a sense of wholeness. Because it’s coming from the original matrix of the unconscious. So, this is very true for me, and I notice it, even when I listen to the podcast, that when I’m verbalizing what I’m thinking, often I’m digressive and I’m in circles and spirals and exploring, and I’ve often been told by listeners that sometimes they’re interested in what I’m saying because it IS unconventional. It doesn’t sound like the expected party line around one thing or another, and I experience that when I’m thinking about something and I’m kind of fishing around inside myself. Wouldn’t want to make a living at being a thinker, but it absolutely informs that part of my personality.”
